Michael, the President of Michael Whitaker and Associates, LLC, has been in the financial services industry for 38 years. His formal education is a B.A. degree in finance from the University of South Florida. He also earned Professional designations as a Chartered Life underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) from the American College in Pennsylvania.
Michael is co-author of the book Long Term Care: Is Your Family Protected? He is series 7 General Securities licensed and is an Investment Advisor Representative. He is also 215/220 insurance licensed.
Michael has lived in Ocala for 38 years, he has raised 8 children. His oldest son Michael J. Whitaker joined the firm in 2008 and is also Series 7 and 215 insurance licensed.
